Type ONe

Vice

Enneagram Type 1, also known as the Perfectionist or Reformer, has a vice that can sometimes manifest in their thoughts and behaviors. The vice of Type 1 is anger.

Type 1s can experience anger when they perceive that things are not going according to plan or when they feel that rules or standards are being violated. They may become critical or judgmental of themselves and others, and may have a hard time accepting imperfection or mistakes.

Type 1s can also become angry when they perceive that they are being treated unfairly or when they feel that their sense of order and control is being threatened. They may become rigid or inflexible in their thinking and behavior, and may struggle to adapt to new situations or perspectives.

It's important to note that not all Type 1s experience anger, and that anger is not a defining characteristic of this Enneagram type. However, when Type 1s do experience anger, it is often motivated by a desire to maintain order and control in their lives and in the world around them. By recognizing their anger tendencies, Type 1s can work to develop a more compassionate and accepting attitude towards themselves and others. They can also strive to balance their desire for control and order with a more relaxed and accepting approach to life.
