Type two
INSTIncTS
The Enneagram Type 2 personality, also known as "The Helper," has three different instinctual subtypes or variants: self-preservation, social, and sexual.
Self-Preservation Twos: These Twos are focused on taking care of their physical needs and security. They tend to be very attentive to their own health and well-being, as well as that of their loved ones. They may be very organized and responsible when it comes to managing their finances and resources, and they may feel most comfortable in stable and predictable environments.
Social Twos: These Twos are focused on building and maintaining relationships within their community or social group. They may be very sociable and outgoing, and they often enjoy being the center of attention. They tend to be very skilled at reading social cues and picking up on the needs of others, and they may go to great lengths to please and support their friends and acquaintances.
Sexual Twos: These Twos are focused on building intimate connections with others. They may be very passionate and intense in their relationships, and they may seek out intense emotional experiences with their partners. They may also be very focused on physical intimacy and sexual pleasure, and may use sex as a way of expressing their love and affection.
It's important to note that these instinctual subtypes are not mutually exclusive, and many people may have elements of all three subtypes in their personality. Understanding your dominant subtype can help you better understand your motivations and behaviors, and can also help you develop healthier relationships with others.
