Type seven

INSTIncTS

The Enneagram Type 7 personality, also known as "The Enthusiast," has three different instinctual subtypes or variants: self-preservation, social, and sexual.

  1. Self-Preservation Sevens: These Sevens are focused on their own physical well-being and security. They may be very focused on having fun and experiencing new things, but they may also prioritize taking care of their health and well-being. They may be very organized and efficient when it comes to managing their resources and may feel most comfortable in stable and secure environments.

  2. Social Sevens: These Sevens are focused on building and maintaining relationships within their community or social group. They may be very outgoing and sociable, and may enjoy meeting new people and trying new things with others. They may also be very concerned about social issues and may want to use their influence and connections to make a positive impact in their community.

  3. Sexual Sevens: These Sevens are focused on building intense and passionate connections with others. They may be very expressive and adventurous in their romantic relationships, and may seek out partners who share their desire for excitement and exploration. They may also be very focused on the physical sensations and experiences of sex, and may use sex as a way of connecting with others on a deep level.

It's important to note that these instinctual subtypes are not mutually exclusive, and many people may have elements of all three subtypes in their personality. Understanding your dominant subtype can help you better understand your motivations and behaviors, and can also help you develop healthier relationships with others.
