Type Eight

STRESS

Type Eight in the Enneagram experiences stress when they perceive a loss of control or power. They tend to become aggressive, confrontational, and domineering under stress, which can lead to conflicts with others. They may also become paranoid and suspicious of others' motives, feeling that they need to be on guard to protect themselves and their interests.

In extreme cases, Type Eights may become tyrannical, using force and intimidation to maintain their power and control. They may also become insensitive to the needs and feelings of others, focusing solely on their own agenda. To alleviate stress, Type Eights may need to take a step back and re-evaluate their approach, considering the perspectives of others and finding more collaborative and constructive ways to achieve their goals.
